Chinese New Year has arrived with a bang and some very cold weather.
At school yesterday we celebrated with the High School up the road entertaining the Primary School with its very own Lion Dance.
It was noisy, colourful and fantastic fun!

I am born in the Year of the Rat - so it's my year!
This morning on ABC Radio there was an interview with a rat researcher, with a nod to Chinese New Year. He admired rats and their ability to survive, but agreed they spread disease like wildfire!
